Prayer for Today
Father God, what an honor it is to come before you each morning, knowing that you hear our prayers. Thank you for your tender care of us.
Lord, we praise you because you alone are worthy. You are the King of Kings, the Lord of Lord’s, and our good, good Father.
As we bring our requests to you this day, I pray that you would help us to wait for you with expectancy and anticipation!
Where we need wisdom, I pray you would give it in abundance. Where we need comfort, I pray you will wrap your arms around us. Where we need guidance, I pray you will show us the way. Where we need correction, I pray you would extend it with mercy and grace. Where we simply need your love, I pray you would pour it out immeasurably.
To You be all the glory forever and ever! In Jesus’ name, amen.

The Holy Spirit has been convicting my heart to be more in prayer, so this was just perfect to read today, thank you! I would love prayer for myself and my husband as we pursue a house we really want to buy. We’ve been house hunting since October, and we’re definitely learning about patience throughout this process! As for jury duty— I know (from my hubby) how difficult those hearings can be. Praying alongside you for clarity, wisdom, justice to prevail, and YES! That you will be a light in a very dark world! I have no doubt you will be! 🙂
