I once lived in Portland, OR and Bend, OR sl had to look up Enumclaw as it sounded familiar. What country with Mt. Rainier and all those others near enough to see and visit and hike. I loved the PNW and miss it alot. We just moved from the Gulf Coast of TX just this past May to East TX where we have trees and hills…not mountains, but hills will do after 30+ years in the coastal plains….flat! really flat! I used to hike and backpack and ski (both kinds) and loved it all. I am a Navy child but spent most of my youth in San Diego, CA so beaches and sun were what I grew up on!
